ORIGINALLY
The graphics on the car were all painted, in particular the black and red livery on the hood, roof, ailerons, trunk and sides. This decoration also covered the car's irregular and protruding grilles and details, fender lights in the smallest details. The Lancia and Pirelli World Rally Champion lettering were also in paint, while the smaller sponsors such as HF, Vs Corse, Bilstein, Magneti Marelli, Britax, Italian flag, etc. they were adhesive decals.
HOW WE MAKE IT TODAY
car in photos: execution of sponsor stickers, brands and writings only
Complete execution with machine downtime at our headquarters in Turin (Italy).
IN PAINT
Pirelli livery completely in paint like the original with the same coded colors and painting methods of the time that give an additional value of authenticity to the car, Lancia and Pirelli World Rally Champion lettering (all sides) in paint.
The final result of the painted surfaces will take into account the historical period therefore modern super glossy finishes will not be used if not present at the time.
The technical sponsors, the Brands and the logos will be made of the highest quality Cast adhesive - with protective plasticization against atmospheric agents and abrasions - to faithfully replicate the measurements and colors of the originals with the possibility of making them in "vintage" mode for an effect which recalls the screen printing and the historical stickers.
This creation is particularly suitable for the graphic makeover and restoration of former official and original cars of the time, destined for shows and exhibitions at prestigious car showrooms and fairs.
This process is the most valuable and among other things gives the car a sort of "license" of authenticity as it is performed by the same hands and by the same company that made the historical graphics at the time.

IN ADHESIVE
All the graphics will be done completely in adhesive, both for what concerns the technical sponsors and for the livery, creating an accurate replica of the paint version.
For the Pirelli livery, conformable Cast adhesive vinyls of the highest quality are used, applied with hot method for a very long duration, which also allow application on all rounded and curved parts of the car body, on grids and sockets. air. If the car is sold, the adhesive graphics can be completely removed without affecting the original paint of the car body.
Where necessary, we also carry out the protection of the adhesive graphics with transparent protective varnish for a varnish-like effect.
This process is particularly suitable for replicas or historic - but unofficial - cars that participate in revivals and historic rally competitions, for non-original cars that take part in classic car rallies organized by clubs, or for simple enthusiasts.

A BIT OF HISTORY ...
One of the most successful cars in the history of the Rally. The Lancia Stratos was created by the Lancia, belonging to the Fiat Group since 1969, not as an evolution of a series model but with the declared aim of excelling in the world of Rally. The car was born with a mechanical defect that for a time remained an unsolved mystery for the technicians of the Racing Department. When the problem was finally discovered the car began its unstoppable series of victories starting from the first success obtained in 1973 at the Firestone Rally in Spain with the Munari-Mannucci couple and the white-red colors of the Marlboro. The famous Alitalia livery, on the other hand, will appear in races since 1975 and will see the car go downhill from rivals in all national and international competitions. In 1977 the Stratos will give way to the 131 produced by Fiat but will still have the opportunity to face its last official season in 1978 with the Pirelli colors white-orange-black.
