Pubblimais is not only known for its faithful executions in paint of the historic Rally and Racing Liveries with the same artisanal methods used in the era of racing.
In specific cases, our company is also entrusted with the task of dealing with the phases preceding the creation of the final Livery of a car: the removal of existing graphics, the complete restoration of the car bodywork in fiberglass or sheet metal, the preparation of the surfaces with the correction of defects and irregularities, the painting of white (or base color of the body), as well as the insertion of characteristic elements (grills, gaskets, air intakes, etc.) present on cars that have run a certain race and whose exact configuration is to be replicated.
For these demanding and lengthy work phases, Pubblimais avails itself of the help of trusted historic body shops with high levels of experience and plays the fundamental role of supervisor in order to indicate the guidelines (colours, type of restoration, external and internal areas to be painted, elements and accessories to be inserted), frequently check the progress achieved and ensure that the pre-established objectives are achieved.
Some examples of complete restorations commissioned to Pubblimais in recent years

The total restoration of the legendary Lancia LC1 Gr. 6 Martini Racing - chassis #002 - winner on the Nürburgring circuit - 1982 World Sportscar Championship - represents one of these specific cases.
In accepting this assignment we felt the weight of the responsibility of doing a great job, because cars like this represent a collective heritage of absolute value and their full recovery must be shared with the entire Motorsport sector. The responsibility we felt encouraged us to document ourselves thoroughly and to face with an unyielding spirit all the obstacles that we obviously knew would stand between us and the final result we wanted to achieve. Even if we have always been fortunate enough to work with a certain frequency on cars that have written the history of racing and therefore to develop a certain knowledge and confidence in dealing with and managing this type of work, it was very important from the beginning to maintain an attitude of great humility and attention to detail, without taking anything for granted: too much confidence could lead to even a single error that could compromise the entire process.

Today, as we have come to the end of this long journey, we are very happy to be able to share with all enthusiasts the images of what can be defined, without fear of exaggeration, one of the most
important restorations of recent decades. The most attentive of you have noticed that for a few days these images have already begun to appear on all our Social Media (Facebook, Instagram
and Youtube) and we anticipate that they will continue to be published continuously in the coming weeks to allow you to follow all the spectacular work.
If you haven't already done so, you can click on the icons of the three Social Networks and subscribe to our Channels:
The photographic documentation that will be published is the result of a selection made from thousands of photos taken over many months, and the commitment and time needed to take these photos were very high since sometimes we found ourselves having to slow down or reschedule some phases of the work in order to be able to document some moments while still respecting the timing for the more delicate phases of the work such as painting.
However, browsing these photos in succession as if they were a single large Album, we are convinced that all the sacrifices were worth it.
Will you think like us? We hope so!
We warmly invite you not to miss our Posts, our Stories, our Reels supporting them with many likes and appreciations, with the awareness that behind every image and every small video there are hours and hours of hard work in order to obtain the best possible result in terms of beauty and aesthetic perfection while respecting tradition and a working methodology as close as possible to that followed by the graphic craftsmen of the time.
Thank you for your support and appreciation!
